I am leaning toward enrolling in a debt settlement program and have researched a few companies, but I'd like to know if there are any that come highly recomended or highly warned. I've searched them on the BBB but it's still a nervous decision. Any referrals are appreciated!

What state are you in? See the ranking chart in this website for few more companies in your area. Compare their quote before finalizing anyone. Make sure that you do a through research on them with your state DA's office and the BBB. You will come to know about their positive or negative feedbacks.
