Has anybody had any luck contacting and resolving a debt with Rio? I tried to fax and send via certified mail a form letter to settle my debt using contact information I got from this forum. The fax would never go through and I must have tried 10 times; and I never got the postcard back saying my certified letter was received. I'm sorry I don't remember what information I used, but does anybody have any contact information that has worked for them??? Thanks!!

I just wanted to mention; I tried the same thing with PayDay OK and after a week or two they stopped trying to contact me to repay my loan. I never got an email or anything saying my acct was closed but now when I try to login to the website it tells me that I can't access my information and I need to call the customer service number regarding my account. I know my fax and letter went through to them because I got a confirmation on both.

If Rio is not accepting your fax and certified letter, then you should send one through Fedex. Your receipt of the certified letter and the fedex will prove about your actions.
Rio resources phone numbers are - 804 687 3959 / 866-859-6129 / 866-213-0268. Maybe you should call one of these numbers and place your proposals.

Rio Resources are a bunch of outlaws. They will not answer complaints and if they do it is always negative. I have sent certified mail and its returned. There newest gimmack is that they are saying they are indians and are exempt from US law. I guess they come up with that when they moved to OK. If you have any luck let me know. KYSIDE38

They are not exempt from Federal law. Federal law overrules the laws in each state.

I have filed with the Internet Fraud Center, Attorney General's Office, spoken with the Credit Commissioner of Oklahoma, and the FBI in Tulsa Oklahoma about this company. I have traced them to one of the Tribes in Oklahoma. The FBI is very interested in having all of our information forwarded to them. If you want the address PM me and I will be more than happy to give it to you. Reservations are sovereign nations and the states can not interfere with their laws but the federal law overrules them. That is why the FBI is so interested in this company. Let's shut them down!!

You sure have got my vote to close these people. They owe me a lot of money in refunds. I way overpaid all of them. They go by so many different names its hard to keep track of them. Good Luck let me know what happens. KYSIDE38

I just kept emailing them till they got irrated and than they marked my account PIF so know Im going to keep after them till they give me a refund

Keep at them!! I got a refund from them 6 months ago, they used to be one of the easiest to get one from.

Rio has so many affiliates it's hard to keep up with them. I'm sure a lot of people from the forums have hit them.
