I am looking to fire my current settlement Co. I want to find a company specialized for pre charge off settlement and have fees based on what they settle. My current company charges 20% of what he saves on each account and 55% no fee guaranty. Can any one recommend a such company. I am not interested in pre -paid companies.

Graceful debtor

Why can`t you tell me? That makes no sense. You posted as an anonymous guest so its not like the company you are with would know. I bet i know who the company is anyways and I bet I know why you are wanting to fire them.

" quid pro quo "

It is kinda difficult to respond with a course of action when one is hog tied due to lack of information. At least give us a company name to work with.

You are with sifxpert I think according to your fee/settlement guarantee figures you have quoted. Since it is my board to moderate I can choose to post where I want!! You could always do a search on our board for the information.

Guest, I don't understand why you aren't willing to provide information on your current settlement company. As Mobile said, you are posting anonymously. The people on this board are normally very helpful, but your attitude is generating conflict instead of helpfulness.

There are many debt settlemetn companies that will be willing to help you out for simply a commission fee. Retainer fees and set up fees are nothing but a fat big lie.

Most DMC do not even contact your creditors, EVER, that is why nothing is ever done on your behalf. Mostd dmp have you sign a contract, please have a lawyer read the fine print, on these contracts they basically wash their hands on anything that can happen such as lawsuits, garnishments, et...

The bottomline is while you are sending this company your hard earned money, your account continue to accumulate late fees, interest, etc..

Do yourself a favor try getting out of your contract with the current company you are dealing with, ask them to show you physical proof that they have contacted your creditors, I bet they cannot provide it, afetrwards do your home work and team up with a company that really cares about your best interests!
