You did not apply here for a loan. This is a debt forum.

I suggest that you not take the payday loan. Do a search on route 66 and see how that company does business. There has to be another way of getting extra money that you need, get a second job, borrow from a family member, make payment arrangements with the company you owe money to, go without something, or even sell something to get extra money.

I for one can tell you that payday loans are no good. They will eventually eat up all your paycheck. Then you will have to take out another one because you don't have the money to pay off the fist one. And it just goes on and on.

But if you REALLY need to take out a payday loan, PLEASE go to a storefront lender. They are licensed in your state. The on-line lenders usually are not. So they feel like they don't have to follow laws. PLEASE read up on the company you wish to borrow from BEFORE you borrow from them.

You must have used the wrong routing number...
But I think that if you take the loan out you should at least pay back the principle with legal interest but hey best of luck to you

Route 66 is a terrible company, but you still have no right to intentionally try to screw them over. It's a good thing your routing number isn't working.

Wow! Who else have you borrowed money from with the intentions of not paying back? I can't believe you are actually coming on here and asking us for help with something like this. You need to find a forum for criminals apparently. Granted, I don't like the pdl people either, but what you're asking for help with just blows me away. The only advise I can give you is Karma man - what you do to others will come back to you three fold. But hey, it's your life. Have a safe trip home.

Man,
I hope that you get what is coming to you. Route 66 is pretty lethal in getting their money back, and they have ways to find you. I hope that they get you. What a terrible thing to come on here and say. The people here are trying to help good people who got stuck in bad situations. They are not here to help people break the law.

I can only add this....

I hope this person actually found the correct website for Rt. 66 and informed them that he had no intention of paying back his loan. They'll have a field day with him.

No..wait...this is Rt. 66 we're talking about here...they'll just move on to the next poor sucker in line (with accurate bank info) and torment the h*ll out of them to get their money.

Oh wow! This is just wrong! I am also not a fan of payday loan companies, but to deliberty try to take the money and not pay it back it so wrong! Seems someone has no morals or anything like that. Joseph, you are the type of person that gives others a bad reputation.

People like this is how these companies "justify" to themselves lying to consumers and calling them theives and telling them they are about to be arrested . . . .

Yep yep everything you all said was true....For the 50 of us or so that have actually been scammed by the PDL's, there is one person out there that scammed them and that is how they justify what they are doing

You know, the more I read what was written the more I wonder if someone posted this just to get everyone all fired up. It would seem that anyone with a little bit of something upstairs would be able to tell if they put the correct routing number on something or not and if so, they would be able to figure out where to check to see why it isn't working. Something tells me that this isn't even a real person. I may be wrong and if I am, I pity them for what type of person they are and would wonder how they could sleep at night. Most of us are not trying to cheat the pdl people out of what they owe, but don't want to be cheated or taken advantage of. To me, it is awfully bold for someone to come on here and write what they did. Just my opinion

It is called fraud and if he tries it with a company that follows the law,he could end up in jail.
