Hi Supergirl...welcome to the forum..can I ask what kind of debt this is?? Also please tell us what state you live in and how much each loan, cc, etc. is for. Then we can better direct you or answer your questions.

How long have you been in defaults on your loans? Take the free quote from a consultant referred by this website. He will analyze your total debts and work out a repayment plan with your creditors. You will have lower interest rates and get most of the late fees waived off. Study the options mentioned here and discuss in details with your consultant.

Secured is a car payment or anything that has collateral.
Unsecured debt is a credit card with no colleteral attached to it, medical bills or a signature loan.
Hope this helps u understand,
Ang
