Can I receive a template letter that I would send to creditors, explaining the Fair Debt Collection act and how to communicate with creditors?

Hi Suzanne! Welcome!
If you look up towards the top center of the page you'll find a "Do It Yourself" link. Click that, and scroll towards the bottom until you see the "Sample Letters" link. All which are free! Just may need to be tweeked a bit to fit your needs.
After you have typed your letter, feel free to post it (taking out your personal information!) to get some feedback, until you get the hang of writing such letters.
And most important- ALWAYS send your letters via Certified Return Receipt(CRR)!!!!!! This will be your proof that a letter was sent, you'll want to hang onto this!

Yes! Good advice from Kelly. Always certified return receipt. Without documentation you have nothing!
