We have spoken with Care One credit counseling to setup a debt settlement program. Any advice?

Are you sure ? Care One credit counseling is a non- profit company and can only offer a debt management Plan.

Care One recommended the debt settlement plan. They work with a national law firm Purcells & Associates who uses an attorney in my local area. They do charge 15% payable over the first 18 months.

I am not saying they are bad but I can`t find them on the BBB and most good settlement companies won't front load their fees in the first 18 months but at minimum 24 months or more.

I would advise you to check them out further. Mobile gives very good advice and knows the debt settlement and debt consolidation industry very well.
