Yes it is, but if you read back, the phone number I found for Universal Fidelity in Dublin, OH is different from what is on your letter.

I also found these. I'm trying to find out if there's one corporate office and the rest are just satellite locations or if they're all separate companies. One of the locations was actually Universial Fidelity, LLC, but the rest all say Universal Fidelity Corp. Sneaky, sneaky little PDL companies...

That last post was me, sorry. Joyfordream, I would be concerned about the validity of the place that sent you info, because the P.O. Box address for Houston you have shows up on the satellite map in the middle of a neighborhood, and I certainly wouldn't want my hard earned cash going to some weirdo guy sitting around his house in a bathrobe using illegal collection tactics. You could try calling the 2 Houston numbers I posted before and seeing if either one of them holds your debt, if you can manage to get info out of them without giving them more than your name.

Lol, I know, who would have ever thought that about Sonic? They alway seemed like such an honest, straightforward group *snort* Do you know if Universal Fidelity is actually linked in business to Sonic, or are they just the CA Sonic uses? If we can get a handle on how the group is structured and if they're linked, I'll sit down and call every darn one of them to try and figure out what their deal is.

I have no clue, but if you can find that out that would be wonderful. You can google Universal Fidelity LP and get a website of a company but who knows if it's legit.

Also does business as: Fingerhut Credit Advantage UFC Universal Fidelity Universal Fidelity Corporation Universal Fidelity LP They have an unsatisfactory record with the BBB, who has processed 172 complaints about the company in the past 36 months (and that doesn;t include pending complaints). The Langham Creek address in Houston I posted earlier seems to be their main location, but they also have about 5 or 6 different P.O. Box addresses; but considering what I found out about that P.O. box Joyfordream had, I wouldn';t trust one of those.

3629 Seattle Slew Dr Columbus, OH 43221 This address is in the system for some reason, but the Ohio BBB states that the company is located outside its service area and then gives the Houston address as contact info for the company.
