Universal Fidelity
P.O. Box 19537
Irvine, CA 92623
Phone #: (949) 852-8900

That's the contact info I found for Universal Fidelity. They are a collection agency, but they've gotten pretty mixed reviews in the forums. And Sonic has never been easy to deal with. Do you know if your debt has been sold to them yet or if Sonic still holds it?

In Houston? I live in Houston- tell me what their contact info is in Houston and I'll run a search on them in a Houston database and see what I can pull up. Definitely ask them to validate (send the letter CMRRR) and let me know what their Houston info is. And let them know you won't give them any money until you have something in writing.

Alrighty... here's the weird stuff I found on Universal Fidelity.
1. The satellite map shows the P.O. Box address smack dab in the middle of a residential neighborhood (complete with swimming pool), so needless to say, that address is a little suspect.
There are two Houston locations for Universal Fidelity Corp, both within a mile of each other right of of I-10 in Houston.
1. 1445 Langham Creek Drive
Houston, TX 77084
281-550-1444
When I called this number, a woman named Tameka answered the phone and asked how she could direct my call.
2. 16001 Park 10 Pl
Houston, TX 77084
281-579-8888
When I called this number, I got an answering machine that said "Sorry we missed your call, please leave a name and number." They didn't give a contact name or anything, just that message.
Both of the Houston locations I listed are in an office complex area of I-10, so they might be a better bet than that P.O. Box.

(614) area code is Southeastern Ohio, but there's no listing to any Universal Fidelity Corp anywhere in Ohio that I can find. But there are location in Florida, California, and Nevada, so they must have different branches depending on your location. Joyfordream, where are you located?

Yes the 614 is Ohio, but when you search thedirectory(dot)org this is what comes up:

Quote:
Your Prefix Search Results

Searching for area code 614, prefix 789:

Area Code: 614

Prefix: 789

Location: Dublin

Other Info:
So which is it then??
