Does anyone have any experience with an honest Debt Settlement company. I am overwhelmed trying to figure out which is the best one to use. Maybe I don't even need one and can do it myself. HELP! I need to get my debt under control.

Well, I guess 'honest' is a very relative term. You can hear a bunch of people voting for a particular company, whereas another bunch will say its 'bad'.
You can try out what kash has suggested.

Finding an honest debt consolidation company, well, you can try out this formula.
Call up the debt consolidation company, if you are referred to a new representative every time and is asked to explain your case history. Thats a bad firm.
The best way to find out a suitable debt settlement firm, search with the BBB site. If your present company isn't listed with the BBB then you may have to look for a new firm. By registering with the BBB the company is actually exposing itself to negative comments and may face the consequences if they accumulate too many negative feedbacks.
Thirdly, if the firm is asking for the charges upfront , then thats a warning sign.
