Geneva Roth is also known as Loan Point USA, they will charge you $30 extension fee for $100 you borrow. To pay off the loan you must email them a loan extension form marked clear any balance 4 business days before it is scheduled to be withdrawn from your account.

There are many phone numbers and address for this "company". I will bring this post to the fore-front so that others may answer your questions, just hang on a little longer and the help will be on its way.

genev roth how to pay off "the rip-off company"
I have found out what to do to stop payment. You should recevie an e-mail from them approx 1 week before the $90 comes out of your acct. You must fill out the form and either e-mail it back or fax it to them a minimum of 4 days prior to the ach debit of $90 from your acct. If you do not do so, they will keep taking the $ out. They got me for over $1000 so far. Somewhere in small print on the contract for the payday loan, it states you must pay back all of what you borrowed within 2 weeks or they will take out $90 every 2 weeks. You must also fill out the e-mail sent to you to inform them you want to pay down your loan if you cannot pay all of it back in 2 weeks. You will receive this e-mail every 2 weeks until your loan is paid off. You must be sure to respond to this e-mail every time they send it or they will not put $ towards the loan payment. They will just take the $90. The e-mail comes thru as loanpointusa into your in-box. You must have your spam/pop-up blockers off or the e-mail will not come thru. Here is all the info I have on them to date:
800-351-8820 cust. service ph#, Geneva Roth Cap P.O. Box 148 Mission, KS 66201, fax # 800-351-8830. You can also email them a letter letting them know you want to pay down your loan, how much, and what date. Their email is: customerservice@loanpointusa.com I hope this helps anyone who has been mislead by this company. They really know how to take you for everything. |

loan
I just got off the phone with Geneva Roth. They have been charging me a fee of $120 every two weeks since May. Apparently there is a form that Geneva Roth is "supposed" to send to everyone who has a loan. This form is to "pay down" the loan. I just filled it out online. The $120 doesn't even go toward the principle of the payday loan.

Ok, I am also being taken by them for $150 every 2 weeks, my question though is that Ohio passed strict laws for payday loans in Nov. 2008,,, according to Check into cash they can only charge me $17.. to borrow $300 for 2 weeks,, yet this place is charging $150 every 2 weeks for $500,,, also CIC will says they can not extend a loan over 2 week due to the Ohio law.. So if I took out this loan after the new laws went into effect, how do I fight this... I think they can only charge me about $35 dollars plus the principal.....
thanks for any help. |
