I am going to have to wait until next Friday to pay my retainer to T & C because I need to pay my cell phone and water bill this week and I don't have enough to pay both. I am just worried about the storefront loan that we defaulted on this week. I tried contacting them thru their collections dept prior to the date the loans were due (My husband and I both have one) but the person I spoke with was really nasty and threatened me. We haven't heard anything from them and I am afraid to wait another week. Once we pay T & C next Friday then they can deal with them but I am scared. How long before they start doing anything about sending you to court? Do I have time to wait until next Friday? I have thought about contacting the manager at the store but I don't know if that will do any good. I already worked out an arrangement with the other storefront. Plus I wouldn't be able to pay them anything until 6/22 I don't think.

They won't send you to court in the next week . . . . They will wait at least a month or two after you default to file a claim . . .

I hope so. I know it will take T & C a week or more to send them a proposal/payment once we make our first payment and that will be not be until next Friday so we're talking a couple of weeks after that before they will get a payment. I'm just worried, I guess. Especially since this is a storefront. I've already told T & C that once we make our payment then this one should be one they will contact first.
