Has anybody ever dealt with this company? Are they legit?
I would rather go with debt consolidation than debt relief. I am under the understanding that debt consolidation does not hurt your credit rating as much as debt relieft companies?

They offer debt settlement. Yes they are legit. They have a satisfactory record with the BBB and are members of TASC.

Lets make sure you have a clear understanding of your options
Options 1 : debt consolidation Loan.
The advantages to this type of loan is it will get you one payment at lower interest rate. The disadvantages are that you must have collateral like a house or car to put up to get the loan so if you default you lose it. Plus most financial advisers never suggest turning unsecured debt into secured debt.

It will get you one payment at much lower interest rates and its not a loan so no need to have collateral to qualify. Plus it have no negative effect to your FICO score. The disadvantages are that it will reflect on your report that you are in a program until you complete it. Plus you can`t use the cards anymore.
Option 3 : Debt Settlement
It will get you one payment around half of what you were paying and will get you out of debt in typically 3 years or less. This is a hardship program for consumers who can`t afford or qualify for loan or DMP and don`t want to do bankruptcy. It does hurt your credit but then again if you are a good candidate for this program its because you are already delinquent or about to be so the fact it would hurt your credit is irrelevant because you pretty much already have.

Interesting Mobile! I was offered debt consolidation without collateral once but there were so many built in fees it wasn't worth it. I guess its one or the other.
