If I named the company, you would only call me a plant, like you already have called others who have had good success with the same company. Why don't you tell us all what your story is? Why you came to this site for help, and got it, and why you hate settlement companies? People come to this site in good faith, pouring their hearts out over personal problems that they can't even talk to their friends or families about, all in hopes of finding someone that can offer advice or aid. They don't want or need to be called names or ridiculed. I don't care who you are, but it absolutely makes me curious about your motives, and why you are so bitter and rude. Your credibility depends on it, as far as I am concerned.

It's not that you are untruthful about the facts of SOME settlement companies. By now, everyone knows the awful facts of Hess & Kennedy and Sifxpert. But there are some good companies that do good work, and people have a right to share that information on this site without automatically being called a plant.

Superior debt relief (Superior Debt Services) has a ton of complaints against them with the BBB. I think that's a sign don't you?

Acutally, not a ton. I have just visited the BBB site, and this information is available to everyone: Seventeen complaints in the last 36 months, ALL OF WHICH HAVE BEEN RESOLVED. They work with thousands of clients, so this is miniscule. You also have to keep in mind the nature of the settlement process and the state of mind of clients going through it. It is exhausting and upsetting. Most clients usually can only settle one account at a time, and are frequently harassed by never-ending calls and threats, and sometimes (although rarely) sued by collectors. Emotions run high, and the client wants to lay the blame on someone else, so the settlement company is automatically blamed when nothing can be done at the time, only because the client does not have the funds to pay everyone at once.

Oh stop it. 17 complaints at one location and 4 at the other. They only have 2 locations so please.....how big is there client pool? All over the country right......LOL. 21 complaints IS A LOT. Cut it out and stop playing. You sound so off it right now. But that's OK, live your world if it makes you feel better.
So BobbieJo thinks it's the consumers fault people......LOL. Some of your statements really crack me up...really. You don't have legs to stand on but you keep trying to get up...LOL. The more you say the more you dig the hole so keep on.

Wow, Tom321 it looks like you have spent a lot of time looking this stuff up. If Superior Debt Services is a scam do you have any recommendations to one that is not? Or do you know of a way to FIND a good settlement company and not be taken in by scams. I have noticed that most of the ones posting their satisfaction in these forums are all guests, it at least makes me consider what you have said, though you are a guest yourself. If you have any advice please leave me a message or post here again.

Everyone knows that settlers like Sifxpert, that have taken the clients' money and not settled the accounts with it, is certainly to blame for those clients' added problems. But legitimate companies can have claims filed against them also. I have been through a settlement process, and can speak from experience how it is. From more than a year of researching it on-line, MANY consumer complaints with various companies come from being sued by creditors because the accounts could not be settled quickly enough, and the settlement company could not do anything for them because there were not the funds available to do so. That's the nature of a settlement program, especially if you have a lot of accounts to settle. I was simply stating some information that I discovered to be a common issue.
There is no reason, Tom321, for you to answer every single reply with childish rhetoric and name-calling. I'm beginning to think you're only about eight years old.

Only 17 complaints in three years, considering the thousands of clients they must have had, is very good for this type of company. And the fact all of those complaints are resolved also shows they are willing to make right what they can to the few people that are unhappy about something. I checked out several companies before I started my settlement, and most weren't even in the same league - they had a lot more complaints, unresolved complaints, and lower ratings. Anyone who is interested in entering a debt settlement program should check out all the companies you can, and compare. No company, especially one that deals with people in crisis situations, is going to have zero complaints. It's all relative.

Ladies and gentleman do you need anymore proof of who are the surrogates here. I think they have said enough. Thank you the two of you.
Nuff said on them.

Hi Tom321...wow you are pretty harsh there buddy. I am with Superior Debt Services and they are amazing. Not a plant furthermore WHY are you a guest. Are you a plant for another debt settlement company and defaming Superior for your own benefit?
Superior Debt is amazing they have helped me with getting my debt under control. I have only two more accounts to settle on and I'm done. The other amazing thing is Teresa Cadiz my counselor is still with the company. As I have found when doing my research years ago that employees come and go it is great to know that anytime I need her she is right there.
Tom321, did you ever utilize their services? How can you speak so ill of a company?
I am a customer of theirs and admire what they have been able to do for me. I have many postings here and I am NOT a GUEST......if anyone needs any testimony from me please let me know I will share in detail my fantastic experiences with Superior Debt Services.
Tom321, I feel pitty on you that you have to lash out at a company that does have a good grasp of settlement. If you are a psychologist be sure to take all that bitterness and hatered and try turning it into something positive.

I am disappointed with Superior because for over a week I thought these people were going to help me and then I get an email from a "consultant" who stated I did not meet the criteria. Now I am back at square one trying to deal with my debt. I am very leery dealing with any of these debt settlement companies. OakView wants a $400.00 fee and then $50.00 a month to service the account and then they can't guarantee they can settle with the account.

You guys need to take more classes on learning how to sound like real consumers and not sound so much like reps and surrogates. This will truly be my last blog statement about you guys. You guys sell yourself out by just commenting so I say keep posting here so we can figure it out faster. Thank you....all of you. You make my mission so much easier.

Thank heaven you will no longer be posting. Now the honest people can get back to using this forum for what it was intended: the exchange of ideas in an adult manner. No one is selling anyone out here. I know I have been through a successful settlement, and for you to deny that makes you a liar and no one needs that kind of behavior on this site. So good riddance.

Charbo62, I am curious why were you not qualified? I am with them and almost done there was 1 account that I could not put int he program because it was with a lawyer office. Being disapointed in not qualifying I can understand but there has to be good reason as to why. Becareful because they are great and would not want to subject you to a worse situation.
