I am not sure why they stated I did not fit the criteria. He never would email me back when I asked what he meant. I am upset about being jerked around and now I am back at square one facing the dogs.

For me, I worked with Teresa you might want to give her a call. If she can help you she will do so right away, and if not then she can give you a direction to take. At least she will tell you why she cannot help you and also the directions available to have you a little bit better than facing dogs on square one. Thanks melben. I think at this point I am going to have to go with some kind of Legal help. It has been awhile and I already have one of the cards suing me. I am very distraught over this because I am sure it will not be long before the other three do the same.

Well....I commented, on another thread, that SDS is very pushy. To give everyone an 'update', I posted that SDS was very pushy and had called my home telling me they were going to send me an contract with them..............I told them, time and again, that I haven't decided what I wanted yet. They hung up on me. I feel they are a scam, too.

I'm sure they are a scam. And I've read just a bit of their website. They had called me about their program. I din' even look at their website. However..........I've seen positive and negative things about them. In my OWN experience, they are very pushy and just did things WITHOUT my permission.

sdchargers_63, it could have been worst. You could have signed with them and found all this stuff out later. I think people are signing with these companies without reading the web sites thoroughly. If people would just take the time to read them it would be so clear.

hey, TOM..ain't that the truth!! I don't know how they could have written up a contract without telling me first. Of course, I never signed anything. When I told them, over the phone, that I din't want them to send anything to me, they seem to get mad. They wanted to send it Certified Mail...nope.

They are all a ripoff. The main reason is that they do not provide any service you cannot do for yourself. If you are in debt you should not consult with these agencies. For all those people with positive experiences guess what you got ripped off too. You could have done it all yourself and gotten yourself out of debt faster. I

What they do not do. they do not work with the creditors to reduce your debt. They do not contact the creditors in good faith as they say they will. They delay it and give you a lame excuse as to why they could not settle. They get a portion of what they settle on also.
