Superior Debt Solutions...Debt Settlements

Question: Has anyone used this company for debt settlements. I have already spoke with someone regarding my case....I felt good about about the process...but very weary of pulling the trigger. Can anyone provide some helpful information?..Thanks for your help.

They are one of the more reputable debt settlement companies out there. You should be fine.

mobile0311 just gave you his personal stamp of approval so you are guranteed 100% satisfaction. Make sure you get that in writing but before you do, consider that nothing is guaranteed. You have one shot at this and if you make the wrong decision, you are screwed because some of these companies are growing so fast with the economy the way it is and with salespeople on the forums, that you could easily be assigned someone new in the office that is going through a divorce and are having health issues and accidently drop the ball on a few things through the course of a day and then you are in big trouble......woops, the account just got charged off and went to collections........sorry.
Rather than flipping a coin or taking the advice of someone you don't even know, see a reputable local attorney about helping you out if you get in a pinch and study up on this site and others how you can do it yourself. You will be money in the bank and at least know what is going on with your own finances versus allowing someone else to possibly get it all screwed up and charge you some hefty fees in the process. Be Careful Out There.........

Please disregard negative anonymous posts from guests . This same individual posts under different names and responds to their own posts. This person is a coward who is just here to start trouble and has no clue what they are talking about. Its easy to make accusations when you can hide posting as a guest.

No clue what I am talking about huh....... I don't give any recommendations so I know exactly what I am talking about and I'm not being negative, just realistic. If you knew what you were talking about, then maybe you would be putting your guarnatees in writing. I know exactly what I am talking about and speak with dozens of people every day in similar situations. People want the truth, not someones speculation. It appears you have been speculating about 943 times on this site and I am sure the readers all believe what you say. Now tell me how many of those people that believed your gospel, made a decision based on your recommendation? I just tell it like it is. Speak with any attorney or any prudent business person and ask them who is giving the better advice here? Someone that is telling like it is or someone shooting from the hip in a Will Ferrell nascar suit. ....... you only have one shot at this folks, make sure you are making the right decision and seek some advice from an attorney. I think a true coward is someone that refuses to see the truth when it is staring at them in the face...... so maybe you better not read this if you are a coward. Don't take it personally, we all screw up once in a while, just don't be flaming on people that are a little more realistic than you are. People come to this site for help, not speculation. Tell it like it is and live with it.

Will Farrell made me think of Bob Farrell's, "Give em a pickle" moto. Bob is well paid speaker that tours the country giving speaches about his idea of what customer service is, which is "give em pickle", which basically gets down to giving the customer great service and a little more than what they are expecting. A forum is far from a restaurant or airline company in terms of it's expectations of customer service in some respects but at the same time, maybe shouldn't be at all. Very naive, vulnerable and desperate people come to this site looking for a quick fix to their life's number 1 problem.... finance and credit problems. Posters may not be able to lead them by the hand to find their answers but we can certainly point them in a direction and the direction here shouldn't be to recommend them to a specific settlement company. We don't have a crystal ball and don't have any idea of who will be around tomorrow. Anyone that has been around here for a while knows that almost anyone can learn how to do this themselves and since you only get one crack at this, let's advocate the prudent thing to do rather than making recommendations to sites that we can not possibly guarantee.

Guest, I think the original poster specifically asked about Superior debt solutions, and whether anyone had any information about them. Mobile answered the question and gave information that he knows about them. Guest, you want to ram doing it yourself down everyone's throat, and I don't disagree that doing it yourself would certainly be my first choice, but not everyone is comfortable with that. Some people WANT to have someone else handle the details for them and DON'T want to deal with it themselves. Your continued preaching of "you got yourself into this mess, you should get yourself out" is nothing other than moralizing.

Oh, I almost forgot . . . I'm not an attorney, so this advice and information is based on my own views and experiences . . .

I suppose if I didn't have a conscience like a lot of people on this site giving advise, I would feel a little guilty about mentioning that if we got ourselves into this mess, maybe we should get ourself out, except that is why I say it, because we should feel a little guilty about it. No one else did it to us and now we come to a site like this that supposedly has all of the answers and we take somone's advice and get put on someone's dinner plate. Should we thank God for our luck or the posters that made all of the recommendations. I agree that doing it yourself may not be for everyone but I don't think it should be posters on this site or any other that should be making the recommendations. Too many people have been burned and as valuable of a tool that this site is for so many other things in this industry, I don't feel that is here to make recommendations that no one can possible back up. I know you will say that it is everyone's responsibility to perform their own "due diligence" and make their own decision. Sorry, but that just isn't cutting it...... because people see a few recommendations and maybe no negative comments and that is the extent of their research. Why not just say we don't make any recommendations for selecting a settlement company, we just try to help people with all their other concerns in the industry. What is really screwed up about a lot of the posters here, is that they are so hung up in helping people, they absolutely refuse to ackowledge that they can ever be wrong. I've been wrong a few times in my life but at 57 years old, I learned a long time ago to listen to what other people had to say and learned even more from my mistakes.

If you've read many posts on this forum, I think you have seen that there is a great deal of guilt felt by many people who come here. I doubt that most of them need to have salt rubbed in their wounds. However, if you think that's the best way to help them (tough love, so to speak) . . .

I'm not quite sure what advice-giving people on this site you've judged to have no conscience, and the truth is that I don't even want to know. You are entitled to your opinion, even the opinion that you are better than everyone else . . .

And while you give lip service to having been wrong a "few" times, and learning to listen to what other people say, I haven't seen anymore evidence in your posts of acknowledging that you could ever be wrong than you've seen in the posts of others . . .

As for wanting to change the rules of the forum so that no company names are mentioned, I think that's part of a larger picture that you think you alone see. I guess you'll just have to pursue that however you think best . . .

Trust me, rubbing a little salt in someone's wounds will be a far cry better than getting served over on a platter to one of these debt settlement companies who happen to screw your whole life up. If you are saying that they are that sensitive, imagine them being a dozen times more vulnerable to someones kind recommendations. Lets see... should the doctor treat the wound on your finger without a local or just amputate the whole arm? If you call what I am advocating as pouring a little salt on the wound, I would call what some of the posters are doing here as MURDER.
You implied I had no conscience for making some of my comments. I was only implying that as far as my motives were concerned (if I didn't have a conscience giving sound and logical advice), then few others here have a consciense at all for giving out recommendations for something that they can't guarantee. I can guarantee my answers to people, I certainly couldn't do that by telling someone to choose XYZ company because I think they do a pretty good job or by telling them to do this or that once they are served with a summons.
Funny you should mention that I was the only one on the forum that thought that company names not be mentioned when I have contacted over 20 people that have frequented the forum that feel the same way. How many people read these posts and never reply and how many people read these posts and make a decision without ever making a post. Some people just try to do something about it when they see something not working the way it was intended.

I have been enrolled with Superior Debt Services for over 2 years now and have more than half of my accounts settled with. They are friendly and will answer all of my questions, it is also one of the few companies that is going to help repair my credit. I cannot wait for the last 3 accounts to be settled with so that I can move on.

I worked with a young lady named Teresa, she is very knowledgeable and patient to answer all my questions. When I enrolled with her needed a bit of reassurance this was actually going to happen. My customer rep is Melissa and she is fantastic, everyone that I have spoke to is very caring and loving.

Guest it would appear that you have been wronged by a debt settlement company that did not serve you well. It took me about of month of researching before making a choice to go with Teresa. There were some things that I was very afraid of but now that i'm also done it is a good feeling that i'm almost out of debt.

Just do your research and when you know it is the right company for you certainly take the biggest first step but the rest arent that bad.

Have to commend your patience.......... 2 full years, over 24 months and you still have 3 more accounts to get settled. Can I ask, if they would have told you it was going to take that long when you contracted with them, if you would you have gone with them? I think with a recommendation like yours, you should have people standing in line to choose them over another company. Thank goodness, we have telephones today, without them, maybe they could have got the same thing done for you in just short of a decade. Tell them that if they wait any longer, the statute of limitations will set in and then they won't have to do anything else for your last 3 accounts. Thanks for sharing. Can I ask if your decision to choose them involved any recommendations from this site?

Actually when I began the program I initially signed up for 3 years. 1 of my largest cards was settled with for 22 cents per dollar and i saved tons of money and time because of them. No I first went to the BBB and Professional Debt Abritators sites that were very helpful in finding them. It has been tough, I will not sugar coat debt settlement is not for the weak, but I'm almost done.

Guest I'm sorry that you were a victim of a poor settlement company as was I but after long hours and research and so much information to go through I am very pleased with my choice. Don't particularily care for your tone, but you have been wronged and I understand that feel. In fact being pleased is not enough I'm elated with their level of service, committment and ability to negotiate so that I did not have to it myself.

Just recently found this site and thought I'd share my experiences with those that could benefit from it. There is no harm or malice in sharing what worked for me.

Mel-ben......you sound like you are very intelligent and perseptive. Nothing personal and sorry so brash..... I don't think I am going to save very many people from falling into the same trap as I have seen so many here. Too many people come here looking for a sign and rather than tossing a coin between a few companies, tend to choose the first company they see with some good comments or recommendations and when I see comments like yours, I tend to cringe. I really do wish you the best of luck.
With your comments, I believe I will wash my hands of this whole business. First timers here are generally far too desperate to pay heed to any good advice. With writes offs approaching 7% compared to 3.5% last year, this whole new industry is going to explode within a few years and the feds will step in with all new regulations. Until then this site will flourish and hundreds if not thousands of new people flocking to this site will fall victims to an unsrupulous debt settlement company by choosing one of it's recommendations.

I was only late for a 1.5 month since I enter a debt settlement program 1.5 month ago. Bank of America is already sending me a letter to threaten me about legal actions.

Here it is:We recently received your letter requesting that we no longer contact you about above reference acct. We understand that you prefer not to receive calls, and we will honor your request. However, please understand that if we do not receive a payment of $259 by August 26 2008. We may refer your to outside counsel for legal proceedings. This may result in legan action against you.

Do you guys receive this when you enter a debt settlement program?

I entered a debt settlement program with "solve debts" in San Francisco. They said that if I get sued, they will file something to delay the court date or something. I can't remember the name of the compel of motion or soemthing like that.

Guest, I can appreciate what you are trying to do here, but not all experiences are negative when it comes to settlement. But I can also see where there are some people that are advertising on this site capturing the attention of unsuspecting people. So thank you for trying your hardest.

Vistalee, I do not know that company did you check them out before you signed up with them. This is kind of what happened to me when I signed up with the AZ law firm first, Teresa (Superior Debt Services) had told me that lawyers send out letters too quick and would have my accounts being placed with law firms to be sued quick as well; because the creditors do not want their rights limited or reduced, we owe the debt they should be attempting to collect it. Now they have received those letters your account is likely going to be turned over to a law office to take legal action. This is what happened to me, in 4 months of being in the law office I was sued. Worked out a payment arrangement with them and cancelled the program with them and moved over to Teresa at Superior Debt. Was the best thing I ever did! debt settlement is not easy and it should not be as children we are spanked to put us right again, as adults things should not be easy so we learn our lesson. I totally respect Superior Debt for having a great team of people that provide the guidance, knowledge, help and theraputic conversations all the time Would never have a bad word for all they have done for me. Vistalee, just be sure you know and understand what is being done on your behalf.
