If you understand the settlement process you can easily see the complaints here are from a lack of understanding only. Settlement works - extra fees and interest while you are in the settlement process are typically not considered during the arbitration process. Yes you can settle on your own however most clients or potential clients do not have the immediate funds for settlement. Yes litigation can occur however settlements can and are reached before anyone steps into a court room for most. Patience and commitment are needed. If you are not committed you will not be successful. The 41 complaints listed on the BBB for Swiftrock shows anyone who cares to continue reading, only 1 of the 40 complaints is unresolved and only because the complaintant can not be reached. 41 complaints out of thousands of clients is really a great record. The F rating comes from the lack of paying into the BBB and it also clearly tells you part of the rating is due to the "industry" which is fairly new. All in all if you are reading and truly absorbing what is written in these pages, at least for me, clearly Swiftrock Financial has a great record and is committed to its clients.

Concerning 8K paid (see above) the debt load would have to be over 50K, which obviously this amount of debt did not build over night nor should anyone think this amount of debt would disappear overnight. The contract clearly tells you how the payments will be applied. If you stay committed and don't lose your patience the settlement process will begin ONCE you have accrued enough funds to settle . . . Truly if your debt is over 50K you are looking at saving $20K to be able to settle at .40 cents on the dollar and depending upon the balances entered into the program the settlements will take longer when the balances are higher. Make sense? If this client had stayed the course the story and outcome would have been different.

Stay CLEAR of this company. I am ending up paying many many times more what I originally owed, due to their inability to cut deals with any of my creditors. A year later, I'm so much worse off that I was when I started. Not only that, they told me they were paying $200/month one one creditor, and I just found out that they have NOT been making the payments. Swiftrock Financial is a scam and I am looking to file a class action suit against them for false misleading advertising.

Hi there, i am currently being sued by one of my creditors in superior court, this was done during the time that i was being represented by swiftrock. I haved retained an attorney to handle my financial situation, he has advised me to stop all monetary payments to them. GOOD LUCK!

if they charge the fees upfront dont trust them!!!!!!!!!!

people need to realize that upfront fees give them no reason to settle your debt. they already have your money and they most likely dont care about your outcome.

I talked with accounting and he told me I could always pay more but the process to adjust would be difficult. I said okay. They were to take out payments in January when I talked to them in December. i have the same story as you i made 5 payments of 746.88 so far nothing have happen for me but now my creditors are threating me with court action can i get any of my money back or should i stick with the program

Three calls within 10 minutes frmo them. First call was violating my privacy by telling everyone how I answered. Second call ended with a threat of continued harassment AFTER I told them not to call any more. Third call was the supervisor apologizing to me and telling me the rep was on his way out the door.

The program works you just need to ask yourself how serious you are about getting out of debt. You got yourself into this mess so if anyone out there thinks they can get themselves out then go ahead and try. Just so you know they have bulldaogs on the other end of that line at the creditors offices ready and waiting to make you feel scared and threaten everything to get you to pay. This works. It just does and as far as changing their name its for legal purposes not a cover up. If you totally enjoy paying like 800-1000 a month to credit card companies that have already gotten their money back then by all means keep feeding the monster. Smart move, but if you can admit that it has to stop then thats the first step.
