Does anyone know if Mortgage companies will will work with you on a Temporary Hardship proposed repayment plan? I have multiple Mortgages with the same company, or is it just a waste of time asking?

I'm sure all mortgages are different. But I had gotten behind on my mortgage and my mortgage company (National City Mortgage) let me enter a repayment plan for 6 months where I paid a little more each month until it was current.
