Sub: Credit Card Debt & Social Security Benefits
Does anyone know if the credit card companies can attach someone's social security benefit (retirement) for unpaid debt?

I believe that ss can be attached, but ssi can not. Not 100% sure however, You can google it to see for sure

Nope....both are exempt for credit card debt.
