I found this while browsing online and thought it might be helpful to some people. I'm adding the link. Its not advertising or selling anything so I don't believe its violating any TOS. If it is and this post has to be removed then I apologize.
Anyway its a list of consolidation companies to avoid. Hope it helps.

That's a wonderful find! I think it is very helpful.
*sigh* I guess I'm a tired old moderator. I don't think that links not from gov or federal sites are allowed..It's been awhile since I've read TOS. I think it's fine, though, and I think it should stay. I don't moderate this forum, but I doubt another mod will delete it.

The article was last updated on May 16, 2006. It's more than one and half years now. I hope a lot of customer complaints might have been resolved by the companies.

I realized that when I was reading it. However, I figure that with at least names on there it would inspire some to do a little due diligence before dealing with one of these companies
