There'sthe typical attitude of that whole company.... By the way, ALL of these people aren't looking to avoid paying their bills......some have paid and are still being harassed... some have fallen on hard times and have tried to make arrangements but are met with bullying representatives..... so please keep your rude assumptions to yourself...

Your bank recently took over the servicing of my LB account - I had elected electronic statements and pay my bill online - I cannot access my account online any more and due to electronic statements have nothing with my account number on it - so until I receive something in the mail - I guess my account will go unpaid - I am not planning on answering any harrassing phone calls from rude people like you.

Have you heard of this bank charging customers on behalf of metro style clothing an interest rate of 105.9070% and when they were called out on it they said that since there was so little due that is why they were allowed to charged this amount for their annual percentage rate, I think technically they owe me over 5% of their company's earnings the day they sent me the bill and accepted the last payment from me. Let me know what you think

I was sent a bill from Metro Style which WFNNB is the payer to for this company and my bill reflects an interest rate of 105.9070% I have started a class action suit against the bank and Metro Style if anyone is intereted in joining the class action suit with me just contact me via e-mail and I will give the information to my attorney. My e-mail is . I asked the company to go to arbitration and they offered me $10.00 to settle the matter and I refused Metro Style now says I never had an account with them yet WFNNB Bank says they had an account with me but closed it last June for non-activity but they took a check from a finance company when I consolidated all my bills for $406.00 in September, this was illegal and did anyone know they charge you the interest rate plus one dollar everytime they send you a statement of what you owe them, you become slaves to them for the rest of your life's and people tell you the amount of money you owe them is to petty to sue them when I know it is the principal in the matter and this bank needs to be shut down, no wonder the economy is the way it is and people are loosing their homes and filing for bankruptcy left and right.

I just wantr to give a coment about your company.
I had a victoria secert credit card with you peoplefor a long time;. So I decide to close the acount all in good standing.
I had backrupancy from a long time time ago.. It never affected my acountwith you people. I close my account with you people in good standing and try to re open the account and I get a letter no we cannot reopen your acount be cause of bankruptucy???? That was a very long time ago. I had an acount with you people jurin g that time of bankruptucy. Myh acount was always in good standing. I wanted to re open the acount and you refuse me because of bankruptucy from a while ago???
I close the account because I wanted to, not because of "bankruptucy"" and I wanted to open it again but you sy no because of bankruptucy even though I had the account juring bankruptucy within goodstanding. I am very angry with this decision and I thinking I would never want another acount with you people ever again because I think that this is all so wrong. I wonder how nmany other people feel the same way that I do? I mean I have an account with you people , in good standing I had bankruptcy in the past yo were not bothered by that ,I close the account then try to reopen and yoy say no becauce of bankrupcy it did not bother you when I had the account but since I closed yhe account and tryed to reoprn I get a negitive response.
that is totally wrong and I would never consider an account with you people ever again and I will make sure people will hear my dispute.

good day C. M.

I have a WFNNB account through Pottery Barn. No problems with them ever. Also I have spent thousands at PB over the years. But I was diagnosed with cancer and my ^&%* insurance says it is a *preexisting condition* which means I will now likely have to file BK. The problem I have with WFNNB is that I can't figure out which address to use to offer a settlement in advance of the BK. There is one paragraph in the bill that says "Payments marked PAID IN FULL on disputed debts"- it looks pretty similar to what I want, but their docs could be a little clearer. The problem I have is that because WFNNB has given me a 1 year interest free grace period on my last PB purchase, they don't KNOW that I am defaulting. I have to tell them, hope they respond.

I am being bombarded with telephone calls from the credit dept. every day. Sometimes twice a day. I cannot pay anything at this time due to my being laid off my job. (no income). I am currently looking for another job, and will pay when I can. What can I do to get them off my back?????

I just received an e-mail stating that I owe for a $26.94 item from 11/29/09! In addition, I now owe 2 late fees of $25 each! I signed up for paperless statements eons ago and ALWAYS paid my account in full before it was due. Apparently, I forgot about this charge BUT NEVER received a paperless statement! NOW all of a sudden I receive an e-mail stating it is overdue!!?? I have called WFNNB a couple of times to explain. The first time she refused to give me her first name to record who I spoke with and the second time the supervisor hung up on me! UNBELIEVABLE! I will NEVER charge another item for any store that does business through this bank! I called Newport News and they said that I must deal with the bank...they could not help me! HELLO>>>>don't they contract with them to handle the payments??? If they are treating THEIR customers this bad shouldn't Newport News be concerned???? Give me strength! And our country wonders WHY the economy is in the toilet!

you cant file bankruptcy and expect a line of credit!!! you have already proved your not going to pay, so why would anybody extend credit to you? It's hard to believe you would even think you could get another credit card. How about try this, PAY YOUR BILL!!!!!!

I don't understand why so many of you are having trouble with WFNNB credit cards. It's pretty straightforward. You pay your minimum payment each month before the due date, and that's it. WFNNB is a great bank because they offer student cards to people with NO credit history and give them a chance. I got a card from them from Express when I had no credit and everyone else was denying me, but WFNNB gracefully gave me the card and I now have great credit with a score of 692. Thank you World Financial Network National Bank!

Company just began charging $1.00 to send a paper bill. I figure this legal, just as is their 24.99% interest charge. I find it insulting and nothing but a greedy grab. Can one put a stop to it? What if we refuse to pay?

I cannot give them a favorable rating. We have a clean credit record. However, they feel compelled to impose a 24.99% finance charge. They are now charging to receive a paper bill. Go figure. I recommend that multiple payments be made at $1.50 or something similar. They are surely processed electronically but they have to pay a fee for that. If you use electronic banking, there is not cost to issue the payments.
