Wyse financial is doing the collections. how to deal with them?

Wyse financial is on me hard and heavy about a debt from around 1995-96 on a credit card. I have no info @ this time regarding the acct. amount, or even creditor. It may be a card from years back. I cant recall. I wish to obtain all the info needed. Can you help me????

This is a really old debt so Bossy's adive is very good.Do not make a payment or sign anything acknowledging responsibility for the debt.

We are getting called by 303-813-1601. The caller ID says it's Wyse Financial. I called them back. They're not looking for us. They're looking for someone with the same last name. I told them that person doesn't live here. I told them that they are waking me, and they indicated they will continue to harass us. I looked them up on the internet. We learned they're a collection agency. We are debt-free. I told them I can't give them any information, but that's not stopping them. I have health problems, and disrupting my sleep is harmful. I will complain to whomever I must to get them to stop. I already complained to the Better Business Bureau, and I will complain to the Colorado Attorney General.

Welcome to the Community icon_biggrin.gif First of all, if the debt is in 1996, it most certainly is out of the SOL>

Send them a request for debt validation, there are samples on this site, and make them prove that you owe this debt, it isnt out of the SOL, and that they are legally bound to collect.

Do not call the number they leave you. Call their 800 number so that they have to pay for the call. Call them every day and nag them back. Here's their toll-free number:   800-944-3828
