how about OLS Marketing, some of my initial emails when I was applying came from them bu the actual loan docs say SSM Group LLC

Nothing on OSL. However, I did find that ssm group llc is associated (one in the same) with sjm marketing/platinum b. Nasty, nasty, nasty. Here's what I found for them anyway:

i have recieved a phone call from total lending threatening me saying they will filed a civil action against me they will send the police here to serve me papers and when hung up in his face he continues to call me ova and ova again i think like 30 times back to back and when i said i will report him he says go head i don't care i will call ur job everyday every hour can they do that

Latoya, Unfortunately it is difficult to keep them from calling your job. If you can let it go to voice mail or have someone tell them you are on vacation or that you quit. I am sorry this is happening to you. I had one person tell one of mine I was off due to family medical issues for the next several weeks, then when they began calling again, they told them I had to quit. They have not called me at work since.

everyone in this office including my supervisor have talk to this man told him i was out of the office and he just calls back to back to back so the next step will b to say that she quit

latoya, have you been in contact with Total Lending via email? You need to have written documentation of everything. What they are telling you is hogwash. I have dealt with Total Lending and they never gave me any of that crap! I did everything via email with them. Have you emailed and asked them to only communicate with you via email? When I did, they did abide by my request. And they were civil with me. They never used these threats. If you need an email, just let me know. I can dig it out from my stuff at home.

latoya, when I get home, I will look up the email address and the person's name that I was communicating with. If someone else posts it sooner, great! But if not, I will once I get home!

Just an update. I faxed my letters yesterday and and mailing out my CMMR tomorriw but I got a repsonse from already Tremont and they are willing to accept my 162.50 settlement offer. BIG ltd sent me what I pasted below, I should only owe them like $75. How should I respond:

I write in response to the fax we have received in regards to your complaint against the company.
Firstly, I sincerely apologized for all the calls made to your place of employment and all the inconveniences the company might have caused you.
As requested, we have seized all communications via telephone calls and we are more than ready to communicate via the email as you are aware, when you got signed up for the loan, it was made clear to you that out transactions are paper-free as no documentations are involved.
I have reviewed your file with the company and your record shows that, you took a short term loan on August 08, 2007. This loan was transacted between you and B.I.G Ltd, which is an offshore, non-U.S., based entity.
According to the terms and conditions, which were made clear and you agreed to when you took the loan, for each pay day a payment is due to us, you had the option to either extend the loan by paying only the extension fee or, otherwise, you could pay the current extension fee together with the outstanding principal loan amount to pay off your loan.
Our record shows further that, you agreed for a payment towards the extension of your loan on August 31, 2007. The payment was received.
Other payment you agreed for, were returned by your bank due to insufficient funds in your account.
At present the outstanding balance of your loan comprises of the total missed extension fees and the principle amount borrowed.
However, not withstanding this, upon a review of your file, and as we remain committed to resolving the matter amicably with you, as we are with all our customers. I am authorized to offer you a discounted amount of only $200 as a goodwill gesture, towards which we will waive of all incurred fees and charges on the loan and close your loan account with the company.
Furthermore, that amount can be paid via money order or money gram and the payment can also be paid in installments.

jen, tell BIG your amount borrowed (again) and how much you have paid (again) and that you are only going to pay the principle amount (again). Let them know that you are willing to pay $75.00 to have this marked paid in full and closed. Also, did you tell them that you have already filed complaints against them with the government agencies? Love the email address!
