Hi everyone, I am sorry I have not been online for a while but I got some bad news before Xmas ( I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, I got very depressed, upset, mad at the world but thanks to my family they brought me back so I decided I was going to fight it, went for a Needle core biopsy, boy did it hurt! I am sure there are many more like me (afraid of needles), then had surgery on 1/29/2008 and on 2/1/2008 the Dr showed me the patholoy report and it said that there was still 10% cancer still above the margins so on 2/5/2008 I went for a second surgery and since then I have started with radiation therapy (Mamosite) should be finished with radiation on Wed. afternoon HURRAY!!!and then I have to be on Arimidex for the next 5 yrs. So now I am back and I will start posting again (when I have the energy). Please keep me in your prayers! Thanks

One of my best friends mother went through something like this last year and it can be a scary thing. You have friends here who will be avaliable when you feel like talking!

Morningstarr, Kashzan, Sassnlucy, FYI, Thank you all! Kashzan the picture under your name looks DELICIOUS! I think that when I come back from my radiation treatment this afternoon I am going to tell my husband to stop by the Ice Cream Parlor and I'll get one of those. Right now I don't have much of an appetite but my Dr told me not to worry about calories or diet and that I should eat wherever I craved! Again thank you all.

Thank you all! I am feeling a little better. Still getting fatigue easy but Dr. said it is too soon after radiation therapy (1 wk) she said I will start coming around in another 2-3 wks. Hope so.! Again thanks to all of you.
