I'm just completley appalled that someone would post their "advertisment" for a blog that makes this site look like just a place to earn a few bucks, and makes fun of several of our members.

Stefan - The majority of us are not here to earn a buck. We have real jobs. We are here to help others with our knowledge and experiences. You, on the other hand, seem to only be interested in the amount of points you can earn. This is evidenced in your repeatedly answering very old posts, just to earn some points. This has been pointed out by several people in the last week, yet you still continue to answer old posts, pushing back the new posts that actually need help. Flat out I would delete these answers if I could.

And then to go make fun of one of our members financial situation. What the f*** is wrong with you? Again, you must have no understanding of what this site is about. Maybe you've never had something unexpected happen, or you are just cold and have no heart, but to say someone can't handle their finances because of a situation that you don't even know all the facts about just shows how little you understand debt issues to begin with.

Stefan, I resent the fact that you believe that we post on here to get paid. Yes we get points , but I have never even cashed in my points, as I am sure is the case with many here. I post to help other people who may have had the same financial problems that I have had. I post to share my experiences with others, and to offer a bit of hope . That is my REWARD. As far as donating points to help someone, Yes, i did do that. The person helped never asked for any donations ,and by not knowing the situation how could you have assumed that she could not handle her financial situation. FYI she is handling it very well.I donated because I chose to donate, not because I .was asked. Truth be known I was asked not to. Our member did not want to take other peoples points. SHE WAS HANDLING HER SITUATION I ask that you please do not use our forums for your own personal gains . We are not here to be exploited

I may have missed it but I didn't see anywhere that someone was being made fun of. And since I have read many a thread of where points were being donated or someone who just got in too deep once or just really needed someone to listen I have no idea who Stefan is talking about. To be honest I thought he was posting that it was admirable that people care enough about one another here to lend a helping hand where they could. But I could have missed that somewhere.

I am not trying to defend anyone here but to understand.

As far as the payments for posting. Well it's true isn't it? It's by no means a job of any sorts but are we not financialy rewarded when we choose to "cash" in our post? It may not have been worded correctly to whomever is reading and there may be some offence taken but I ddin't feel that was the intent of the blog entry.

Again, just trying to understand here.

I also took that; "A word of note - posting gibberish proved not to work, since the moderators team is pretty big and experienced", as a warning to anyone who chooses to come here and make meaningless post in order to gain somehting financial out of it to not do that.

It was ME that encouraged others to donate to this person. They had NOTHING to do with it. This person is a friend of mine and I will help my friends in any way I can. It had nothing to do with her "not being able to handle her finances". You know virtually nothing of the situation, only what was shown in public.

And believe me, we actually earn our points here. Instead of trying to post gibberish to earn a buck, we actually take the time to learn and research so that we can help others. Even if the points stopped, most all of us would still be here.

No I am not posting here to earn money. But I am surely not going to post here anymore to be called names. I also took the post about donating as being admirable - But I don't like him saying someone can't handle their finances when he doesn't know the situation. That is part of what is being taken offense to.

FYI - But he tried to post gibberish to get more points. Yes, he's saying it won't work, but just the fact that he tried to do it shows that he is trying to find ways to exploit the point system to his advantage.

Secondly, you quote "a member that couldnt handle her financial situation anymore"...where do you get off?? There is A LOT that when on behind the scenes and I can assure that it wasnt the case.

You take a very "enterprising" posture around posting for cash here on the site.

I hope to god that if I ever need help here that I wont end up being noted on your blog....
