I have about $3000.00 in student loans, but with 3 different lenders. Do people usually consolidate this small amount? I pay over $200.00/mth, and less would be great!

Yes, there are companies who can negotiate with your creditors on that debt total. A counselor will call you shortly and discuss about the debts. He will suggest about your next moves that can help in paying off the dues.

You dont need to deal with a counselor for student loans as there is no negotiations. You can easily consolidate with Direct Loans thru the DOE.
