I know that there is no SOL for Fed loans. What about private ones?

Is it a true private loan or a FFELP stafford loan? who is the lender or guarantor??

It is a loan from 1989, PHEAA Stafford. First Federal S & L of Pgh Pa. It's now in the hands of the "Fitzgerald Law Firm, PC"

Stafford loan indicates federal loan. So no SOL. PHeAA stands for Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Authority. The they are are a FFELP (Federal Family Education Loan Progra) guarantor.
