I have been receiving numerous phone calls from DC services re: an outstanding student loan that I am currently in default. So-I take full responsibility for this as I was young when I was in college. Anyways, the call rep request that I pay $190 a month. I explained to her that I am currently not working but I would be willing to pay $75 per mth. The rep stated I can send in what I want but she will not enter a payment arrangement without certain docs which includes copies of my banking statements. I told her that is unacceptable and its also private. Also, they refused to send me correspondence through the mail. Citing I have to find a place where I can receive a fax form from them as well as download their docs from the internet. I explained I have no printer nor do i have access to a fax machine, please send form(s) through the mail but i would not submit my banking statements. The rep became extremely rude and unprofessional. she hung up the phone, i called back and asked for a supv (this part is unbelievable) the sup was worse and hung up the phone on me 4xs. I have never experienced such rude and unprofessional behavior I cant go through NYSHE because they sold the loan to this ridiculous company. what can i do besides change my number.

It is GC services.

You are dealing with federal loans. You either provide what they ask for or you will find yourself garnished pretty quick. By signing your prom note, you agreed to pay the balance in full on demand if you default. Cooperate.

NYSHE did not sell your loans to GC services...they assigned your account.

Go to a public library and download the forms...it aint rocket science.
