Hello. I have been trying to contact the company that is garnishing my wages for student loans but the rep that is handling my account has yet to call me back etc. The only thing I am trying to find out is since they are garnishing my wages, are they going to take all of tax return? or is it a percentage?? Its like a never ending battle with automated systems and voicemails.. Some insight would be great

If you are in default and being garnished, it's likely they will take your full return.

Yup....you have to be in voluntary repayment to be entitled to get your taxes back. Garnishment is involuntary.
