Ok, just checked my e-mail and I received a response from the BBB stating they received a response from AIP regarding my account. The attached letter stated that AIP was in the process of closing down its operations and that my account would be considered paid in full!! YEE HAW!!!
Definitely. I just printed it and saved the letter from AIP on my computer. I just love when things go smoothly. Just waiting on two more and I will be all clear!!!
Let me ask you, sox. Who said AIP was in the process of closing their operations? Was it the BBB or was it from AIP in their response to the BBB? I'm very interested in this one.
Hi cannr...it was actually AIP who stated they were closing up shop. It was a letter from AIP sent as a PDF file through the BBB. Here is exactly what the letter stated:
*soxfan* applied for a loan on an international accessible website. This loan was not solicited. AIP, a consumer loan processor, processed this loan on behalf of a UK based lender.
AIP is in the process of closing down its operation. However, because there are few complaints, it is the lenders policy to settle all customer disputes.
Therefore, *soxfan's* account will be closed and considered paid in full.
Holy crap! Right from the illegal companies mouth! Thank you for posting that! I can only pray that this is the truth. Soooo many people have been "gotten" by AIP (me being one!). This would be great to see at least ONE illegal pdl go down!
