We got a great surprise in the mail today  A letter from Flash loans, stating that our account has been marked paid in full along with 2 money orders, one for $375 and one for $1000. I just said holy @$#^! It actually worked. One down, quite a few more to go.

yeah, it surprised the hell out of me. The letter actually said that they refunded everything, principal and interest back to me. It was just so unexpected. Now that gives me a bit more incentive to start busting these other IPDLs for the same thing.

So my job for today has become to resend all of my cease and desist and refund demand letters to all of the IPDL's and to finish making any complaints to the FTC and BBB. That 1375 allows me to get my bills caught up as well as buy some much needed food and clothes for my twins.

What did you do to get it back from them? I am researching them and currently all I could find is a fax and an address in Beise. Congratz BTW

I sent them a Cease and Desist detailing why they're illegal in VT, and them continued to email them at info@flashloans.com and at flashloans@mailtran.com every day until I got a response and a check in the mail. Be persistent, that is my best advice regarding this company. Also file complaints with the Better Business Bureau as well as the FTC, and file a complaint with your State Attorney Generals Office as well as your State Division of Banking/Financial Instituions.

You didn't have to close your bank account or put a hold on it? Also, I haven't found a listing for them in BBB. Although that wont stop me from filling a complaint. The Cease and Desist letter you sent was based on the form that is floating around these forums? I am very persistent and I hope to get the same results you got.

Definitely close the bank account and put a hold on it as well. First step is to protect your money. Close the account before you send a C & D letter (the one that's floating around).
