I took out a loan a few months back from loanshop and I paid it off when I got my taxes back. Well I needed them again and I took out a 200 dollar loan paid it down to 150 plus interest and then had to have surgery and be out of work for six weeks with no pay well I called them to see if I could start making payments again when I got back to work and they took 172.50 out of my last check I had after my surgery. I have no money now for six weeks because they didn't want to help me out during a bad situation. There reply to me when I contacted them was to get another loan so I would have money. I would not recommend them to anyone. They are a really cruel company that has no feelings when someone is down and out and no way out. I didn't ask to have an operation or be off work for six weeks I thought I was eligible for short term disability but I guess being a single mom with a deadbeat ex who doesn't want to pay his child support which he owes me over 16 thousand dollars I guess I didn't take out the disibility when it was offered at the time of my employment. If i had what my ex owes me I wouldn't need loan company's to help me out.

Loanshoponline is not licensed in the state of California to provide deferred deposits. They totally ripped me off with fees. We are now in some kind of settlement phase which is a joke cause they offered me $600 back on $6300 of illegally charged fees. Told them NO make me a better offer or we go to court. If anyone has initiated a loan with them in the State of California after November 23, 2009 please contact the California Department of Corporations and make a complaint - http://www.corp.ca.gov/ENF/complaint.asp Its worth the stamp... Any loans after that date violate their Desist and Refrain order and I'd love to see them sued civilly by the government. This has become my personal vendetta!

Loan Shop Online is a scam. They are NOT located in Wilmington, DE. That is a non-functioning PO Box..
**They even have since changed the company name to continue operating to non-suspecting customers. They are now called "EXTRA CASH LIVE". The same phony PO Box in DE. This is the same company, be informed.
They are actually located in downtown Kansas City, MO. It's real name is LTS Management. I know this all to be true because my closest friend worked for them... stories of shady dealings
He saw account after account where people had paid $1000s to extend loans that were only $400 to begin with!!

If you never received a loan and they have debited your account, you need to go into you bank branch and dispute the charges. Since they now have your account info, you should also either close and reopen an account or have your bank assign you a new account number. Be sure that the 2 accounts are in no way linked. Your branch manager should assist you with securing your account, refunding the amount that was fraudulently debited from your account and refunding any fees incurred.
