I had 2 accounts with loan shop online. Thanks to your advice, I faxed a letter stating overpayment and demanding a refund. Today (2 days later) I received an email stating that after I sign the release and fax my 2 accounts will both be considered PIF and closed. I'm not getting a refund and perhaps could pursue but don't really want to. Just glad to be rid of them. Now 8 to go,

Good for you  and I agree it would be highly unlikely if you do get a refund from them, you can only hope
