Crystal,

A complaint was received from you via email regarding a loan you had applied for from Loan Shop Online. I appreciate your patience and cooperation as we are attempting to reach an agreement to close your account.

Ever since you requested this loan, both parties have followed the terms of the contract. This was meant to be a short-term loan but I understand that you may have not been in a position to repay the full balance all at once. I realize that the fees can accumulate and add up to a rather large balance. I apologize for any frustration you have experienced throughout your repayment process. I believe it is in the benefit of both parties to accept your offer to pay the remaining $120.00 of your $300.00 loan and to cease any attempts to debit from your account for extension fees in the future.

If this is agreeable to you, please sign and fax the attached release at your earliest convenience. Please retain a copy for your records. The attachment to this email is a release agreement that indicates you have agreed to end your dispute by having your account closed immediately.

Your account will be closed IMMEDIATELY upon receipt of the attached release form and, once your payment of $120.00 has been received, you will no longer be held responsible for any balance in connection with this matter.

Your payment may be mailed to:

Loan Shop Online

2207 Concord Pike, #250

Wilmington, DE 19803

There absolutely will not be any collection activity taken against you and this email is meant to confirm that in writing.

This email and the attached release form combined are written records that neither of us will continue to dispute the matter with the other. You will have no future obligation to make any payment regarding this matter.

My contact information is included below so, if you have any questions or concerns about the release or any other matter regarding your account, please feel free to contact my office anytime.

Sincerely,

William Mashburn

Here's the thing, no one trys to scam anyone out of anything. We just feel that these companies should obey the laws.

I would reccomend that the companies start fighting against people that take out loans they can't repay!

Do any of you notice that the folks complaining about PDL's are the folks that can't pay back what they borrowed?

I would reccomend staying offline applying for loans you can't repay.

Also, keep in mind that if it weren't for the PDL companies in the first place, you may not even have a computer to apply.

I am thankful that there are still companies out there willing to help honest people in need, considering all the scammers out there and the state of the economy.

Good day!

I have been contact from these people and do not recall getting a loan from them. This is suppose to be from 2006. I have read stuff that they are fraud and then I do see how some people pay them. I am very confused on how to handle the matter.

These people are so terrible..I have had a loan with them for a while..they use to send me emails, to renew, payoff..etc...well those emails stopped coming and they kept taking money out of my account. I finally called them, and they said they were sorry, and that they would consider my account paid in full..yeah after I paid about 3 times the amount of the original loan. I will never do this again, they are hurting the people the need the most help.

i recommend that if you have received a payday loan---let it be your last...don't do business with the long sharks and they will go out of business.

Their interest rates are way to high and it should be against the law to offer loans at such high rates.....it's just a revolving circle and people who are desperate need protection. Now the post above, i wholeheartedly agree with you that you should pay your loan back, just american don't borrow from them anymore. I'll eat grass, walk to work, live under a bridge before i ever call anotehr payday loan company. They are not doing you a favor, they are just roping you in, but hey its how they make money....don't use payday loans.

yeah i dont think you know what you are talking about. loans are great when you need them but when they charge you a 150.00 every two weeks and dont reduce what you are paying then that is a problem.dumb ass..
