I just spoke with Christina from SSM and she told me that she got a call this morning from the "lender" and they have marked my account PAID IN FULL! I'm so happy right now. I was my only PDL I had and it's the last one I will ever have. I want to thank everyone here who helped me through this process. I have now made it my goal to help others. I'm in moral debt to you all.
I have some small questions...................shoud I still close my account at the bank? Should I contact my bank about the new news?

That is great news. Please never take out any other loans. It really is so not worth it. Please stay around to share your experiences.

I'm so excited! I really never won a battle like this before and I wasn't for sure I was going to win this one until I started listening to everyone here. They really turned my outlook on this whole ordeal around. THANK YOU ALL!!!!!!

You can definately not be too excited. I recieved a PIF earlier this week and It is the best feeling in the world! I still have a few more I am battling with but that PIF gave me the encouragement to keep on going:)

For sure keep going! Winning is the best feeling.
It kind of feels like you are stepping on the big guys for a change instead of you getting stepped on and have no way out. There is a light at the end of the tunnel after all! I've had a pretty bad year when it comes to finances. This here just made a world of difference to me.

Stacey, I am so happy for you. This is great news. I would close my account just to be sure. You do not want to take any chances. We have had members get PIF's nd then get reported to the credit bureau...I know it is not the same thing but my point is, you can not trust these companies to honor their word.
