Well, I got an email today from the OH AG and according to the correspondence they received from GFSIL, My account has been closed and marked paid in full. I have a copy of the letter they sent the AG....

Way to go! I'm dealing with GFS/GFSIL as we speak! I've been sending certified letters, emails, and faxes, WEEKLY. Until now they have still been calling, finally I got an email response. Asking for one final payment of $100 and all will be satisfied. What do you guys/gals think?? Keep the fight up, or take the "settlement"??? Ironically, I haven't gotten any phone calls at work...that I know of. The ladies in the office are pretty good judges as to what's a collector and just hang up...kinda comical.

KEEP THE FIGHT UP! Tell them you are filing a complaint with the FTC, then do it! Thats how I got my account Marked PIF!
