Payday loan hell in NJ - Received Refund
Sent all my letters July 27th. Three days later received $475 refund (overpaid above principal I owed) along with Confidentiality letter. They will send PIF letter upon receipt. What a surprise that was.
Waiting to hear from the others. Had a problem with cell phone and can't receive messages right now, and haven't received any e-mails. Thanks to everyone here for your help. Will keep you posted as I receive responses. There is life after payday loans......

If you don't mind me asking, what tactic did you go about to get your refund? I am looking at a potential $1000 refund and I am fighting with JHS/BMG's rep Chuck (who always seems o be the rep I get stuck with) on a pdl that I had for $150 over 1.5 years ago!!

When I faxed/e-mailed my original ACH revocation letter, I stated in the last paragraph what I had borrowed, what I had paid and that I expected a refund for the difference within 5 days. Worked with the one pdl. Was I ever surprised! Didn't work with Eastside and they sent me to collections (that Smith Watson firm). U S Fast Cash keeps sending me e-mails for $510 when I only owe them $30 and they don't give me an address to send a money order/cashier check. They've been e-mailing me regularly since my 7/27 letter was sent. I just ignore them, after trying to respond.
One click owes me money but I've heard nothing. So except for Eastside, I'm basically done with my pdls. Now on to credit card settlement.......
