I just got an email from Ohio AG that Instant Loans Nows settled PIF and refunding the over payment of $70. I checked my bank account and there it was $70 deposited in my account. I feel so relieved that it is over with. I filed complaint on Jan 4, 2008 with AG. I am so glad I found this site.
The email has State of Ohio stationary. That should be proof right? I have not had any correspondense from Instant Loans Now except for bank deposit. My bank would only do a credit only for me and it is good for 45 days. I opened another account at same bank. So it worked out that the $70 got deposited. I bet loan company thought it was closed out and would get their money back. I plan to close this account as soon as I get this pdl ordeal done with. I have 2 more to go.
I would think that would be proof enough. Keep it in a safe, accessable location should the need ever arise to prove it. These people have a knack for coming out of the woodwork when you least expect it.
