Welp I did it, closed the ol' bank account. Next on the list is to continue writing these ipdl companies until I reach resolutions.

I went so far as to contact a couple ipdls I had already paid off last year that had overcharged me. I didn't expect much, but now I'm receiving two refund checks via FedEx for a total of over 600 dollars. Not as much as they overcharged me, but it's a big chunk. It took a week of hard work and not taking no for an answer.

Last week I was so stressed out I couldn't sleep, eat, or smile. Just a week later after taking some absolutely wonderful advice from you all I am making significant progress.

I talked with my boss and my HR manager as well and explained to them the whole situation. They were really supportive and told me they would never let any of these creeps take more money from me. YAY!

It helped so much to just come out and be honest about my mistakes with everyone and thanks so much for all of your help on here. I'll continue to post my progress!

Don't lose hope anyone, with all the support we have here in these forums we can beat these guys.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am so happy for you! Also I am glad you are feeling so much better. This is great info for everyone that there really is hope!!!!

Thanks for your post! I love to see people winning the PDL fight.

I agree 100% that honesty is best..Even though I remember very well how difficult it can be to come clean. It's amazing how understanding and supportive evryone is, though.

Keep it up, things are going to get better for you!

Sharks - I had PDLs last year that I took out a loan to pay off and ended up back with those and more this year. I am in the process of taking care of all of these for a second time and when I have completed this also plan to go back on the first loans as they were well overpaid. You have encouraged me to do so with your post. Thanks.
