surveygrrrl	Mine was with Citigroup. I had the account for so long and could not believe they wouldn't work with me.I don't understand why when you make late payments and are calling to find out how to get the payoff amount down they continue to raise your limit. Almost like they want you in too deep.This board is great because you have others who went through or are going through the same thing. I was so woried to have people judge me because of all my debt. It is nice to have a shoulder to lean on, even though it is a virtual one.
sherrie45	Did you try to settle with Bank of America or another creditor? I'm going to try to do debt settlement at a later date. I'm in so deep .. unsecured debt totalling $135,000 total - over a nine year period and they still will lend to me. I've never been late but my business is getting bad so soon it is all coming to head. If you didn't try to settle with Bank of America, who was it, if you don't mind?Thanks.
