did you speak to a manager? Assuming this is all being handled with the Child Support enforcement agency in your state, are they aware of this?

What state are you in?

The amount owed that triggers the tax grab is not the same in every state.

When I filled for child support on my son back in 2007 diidnt get started in till 2008. I got back child support for threes years which was like $12,000 dollars and he has to pay me $400 a month. I tried to do it the easy way and asked him to just give me a hundred dollars a week for him. He didnt want to do it that way so it went through child support now he owes more then he would of just giveing me what I asked for. I pay his doctor bills carry his insurance he still doesnt do nothing for him.

I think they meant the child.
Â*
I was in a similar situation. I paid for it all too.
Â*
He stopped paying at the beggining of 2008. They took his refund and his stimulus check for the back support he owed.
Â*
I never got any more money after that.
Â*
He died in November of 2008 oweing me over two grand.

I think the guest is reffering to her child's bills and insurance. What she needs to do is go to court for a garnishment order if the biological father is unwilling to pay.

However if the father is not working at the present moment they may not get anything. The government will take the father's stimulus and any income tax untill that child support is brought up to date.

My childs father does not live in the state as us. Nor does he support his daughter. Our daughter is 10 years old and I filed for child support Sept. 2008. He underminded me and filed her on his taxes. How is this possible? What can I do?

who has legal custody of the child? That determines who has legal right to declare the child on taxes. If you have joint legal custody, normally that issue is decided on through the child visitation/custody courts.

That is ok I am owed over 34,000 in child support but, no one can find these fathers and now I have to give my car back and my kids are suffering because I can not pay my bills. They do not put these fathers in Jail. The one father has not paid in 9 years. I just want what my kids deserve.
