Has anyone used the online tax programs? Do you have a favorite that you think works better than others? I am going to try the H&R Block one this year, I have surfed through it and it seems fairly easy, just plug in all the information and it will do the calculations for you.
Have you tried any of these programs, if so what has your experience been good or bad, I will be doing them over the next two weeks and would like to receive some feedback on the pro’s and con’s, appreciate all the help and advice that I know that I will receive here.

I also used H&R Block last year and was pretty impressed with it. Not sure what I'm going to do this year, though...

I use Turbo Tax! I will not use H&R Block due to their affiliation with HSBC.
About Three Years ago I finished my return on a Thursday evening. It was approved the next day. My refund was deposited that Monday,a Four day turn around!
Last few years Turbo Tax has been averaging a 15-20 day turn around.

I've used H&R as well as Turbo Tax over the last few years. My refund amounts were consistent (checked one against the other) and expedient. I have been happy with either.

Thank you all for your input, I am going to try the HR block one, I can access everything that I need on their webpage right? I don't have to go out and buy any software right?
I hate tax season, I have to gather up all my junk and wait on stuff to come in yet, I can't see paying somebody to do it if they have the webpages out there that will let you do it yourself.
appreciate all the input, thank you all

I've used Turbo Tax and Tax Cut software, and both have been pretty straight forward and easy to use. I used the installed software, not online.
The only downside I had was with Tax Cut; if you forget something it was kind of difficult to go back and find the place to enter it.

A few years ago, I visited http://www.irs.gov/ and linked to another site called freetaxusa.com. I have never used anything since. I can file both federal and state in under an hour, not have to mail anything, get my refund via direct deposit within 2 weeks of filing. Plus, the site remembers you from year to year so all of your information is stored for you and you don't have to retype much! Oh yeah, and it only cost $13.90 to file...
