I am working on some technical things and just thought to ask you guys something in between.. How many of you use google toolbar, http://toolbar.google.com/ ? Well, actually, I just wanted to check the technical person in you. I will show you what's next?? Smile

I don't use it as the last time I downloaded it it was chock full of adware goodness. Laughing

My reasoning is the same as jcemt. I have enough to do without having to battle that.

I use it.

JCEMT and Cajun are right about the adware, but there's ways around that. Keep IE up to date, and run Spybot S/D and AdAware once a week, and poof! No more adware. Smile

I use a firewall to block any of that crap from getting on my box.

I use software firewalls on each of my systems. That's generally sufficient for most uses. I also have a Cisco PIX firewall appliance, because of the work I do. That will keep out the crap.

Using google toolbar is good, it comes with a lot of features. Also it will help this forum. Let me know if you need more info on this front.

I love the Google Toolbar. Then again, I use 2 firewalls and I run an Adware/Spyware scan daily so I really don't worry too much about it's use for ad related content. Yahoo, on the other hand, is horrible about spam....
