Their program is like the icing on the cake.
It is customary to think that those seeking debt consolidation options are already experiencing difficulty in paying off their outstanding. Well, in my case, it was a bit different. I was already in a debt management program with another firm, but though I got a consolidation option with a low monthly payment rate, the debts went on piling up because my credit cards were still active and I had no idea how to keep my spending under my control. I ended up into a cycle of obtaining "consolidation" loans, with the commissions, fees, and interest rates accumulating to thrust me further and further into debt. I desperately needed people who would provide me with some practical advises. This is what I got from Cds Operations which made me terminate my previous firm join Cds Operations. Just because of Cds Operations, I am a financial refined person and within a few months, I would be debt free too. Now that's what I call icing on the cake. Isn't it?

Helped me a lot to put my finances in order.
I am an over spender by nature and was a darn purchaser at any and every store offering goods at discounted rates. I had 12 credit cards and did good use of them. My general idea was that 'somehow' I would be paying up for the goods at the end of the month. But that 'somehow' did not work out, and I was left with stacks of debts amounting to more than $12,000. With no way in sight, I signed up with Cds Operations for their debt settlement options, because the other options of debt settlement or bankruptcy would spell irreparable doom on my credit report. Being a member of the company inculcated within me, the necessary financial discipline that I much lacked previously. Because of them, I started to organize my finances every month, putting aside the calculated amount as payment. I learned the value of money, and most importantly, I learned to put my finances in perfect order. Thanks Cds Operations

CDS took my $9500, has not assisted me in settling any debts, and I am unable to contact them (their number has been disconnected), and they did not return my phone calls from last month! I am contacting my lawyer.

Worthless
They took my $1200 to help resolve past debts, and after endless times of losing my paper work, and never returning phone calls, they finally agreed to refund me ALL my money becaue they could not help. Again, another 6 months passes with NO RESPONSE. So finally I end up speaking to the Owner who agreed to refund me only PARTIAL amount of my money...again, NO RESPONSE!! They are 3rd rate, don't waste your time OR MONEY! Find a reputal company to deal with.

Well, it's been two years now since I started with CDS. Finally got enough cash saved for them to negotaite with a creditor, called them March 18, 2005, gave them the go ahead. It's May 13, 2005, had not hard from them, called them today only to find that the telephone number was not in service. What is going on here? Have they closed? Took our money and ran? I just found that in the state of Michigan they were ordered to cease and desist as of December 2004. Please tell me that they have not done this. I am going to contact my attorney also.

no help
They were happy to take my money and stayed in contact for awhile, did send the cease and desist letters to the creditors but when Bank of America sued me I did get a lawyer to file a general denial so they could not file a motion for summary judgment down the line. I gave copies of everything to CDS so they would work with my attorney in the settlement phase. When we answered discovery, it was made clear that CDS would be part of the settlement process. We have now offered and countered with absolutely NO input from CDS. I even emailed and faxed and to no avail. I'd like my money back. Their new phone number by the way, is (866) 720-7102 and their fax is (214) 687-0019.

Well, at the advise of my atorney, I sent them a fax demanding that they contact me. Well, within 5 minutes, they were on the telephone telling me that they had their number changed. I asked them if their intent was to notify their clients? We spoke that day, almost 2 weeks ago and I once again have not heard from them. They didn't even give me the new number. They called me at work that day. Thanks for the numbers. They better answer. Thanks again Rhonda. So are you settling without CDS now?

HUGE rip-off, run in the other direction from this company
PLEASE stay AWAY from this company -- can't ever reach anyone on the phone (always busy), and when I leave a voicemail no one ever returns my calls. My creditors are calling me non-stop with no relief in sight. Everytime I called and tried to speak with my assigned caseworker I was told they were no longer with the company. Once or twice in a two-year period I could understand, but every 6 weeks or less?!? Come on already !!! Try filing bankruptcy instead of going through this monstrous nightmare & save yourself the aggravation...!!

CDS is a rip off
Just for the FYI of all the other suckers that fell for the CDS line. A 3 yr program. All was well at first then got to where I got nothing but voice mails. No return calls but they kept debiting my monthly fee. Finally talked to a wonderful women ( Will not mention her name) but she appoligized for the problem and explaned to me everyone had quit working there except for about 3 people. She did not want to tell me why but she finally figured she had nothing to lose. THe owner of CDS was not paying the employees and if he did it was with checks that were NO GOOD. Can you believe a company can keep taking your fees and not even make their employees checks GOOD. Think twice if you are under contract with CDS Operations Inc. and good luck on trying to call...

Returning Telephone Calls for Existing Clients
To Whom It May Concern, My Mother, Janice Gallos has been a client with CDS Operations since February 2004. Since that time, her account has been transferred to several different people who never seem to return her phone calls. Now that her fee to you has been paid in full, you never correspond with her. She now has been served with papers from MBNA America. My Mother is 76 years old and is unable to travel to downtwon Chicago to attend a court hearing. Please contact my Mother, Janice Gallos, at your earliest convenience. Her home telephone number is 708-952-4846. I expect some resolution to this problem ASAP. Sincerly, Mary C. Pineda

Never available to help
This program cost me $6,381.60, and after 16 months CDS did not help me to settle not even one of my 10 accounts. Two months ago, Citibank sued me, I ask CDS for help but never return my calls. I'm getting a lawyer to try to get my money back, because CDS already change the phone number and I cannot contact them.

Beware!
Do NOT ask for assistance from this company. If you are issued a summons, they will leave you high and dry and quit negotiating for you, even though they say they will continue to negotiate right up until your court date. Don't waste your money on them. Do it yourself!

Why you does not post my comment?
I sent my experience with CDS, and after a week my comment has not been posted. Why? Just because it's a sad story of bad service? You post only Kudos?
