$12.95 is being deducted from my checking account without my authorization.

Have you called this company to inquire?
I had something similar with Priceline. I booked a hotel room with them and supposedly I signed up for some service that cost 9 bucks a month, which they started deducting from the accoun that i used to book my hotel. I was not a happy camper.

This was last year. I got them to stop the debits, but I didn't get any refunds.
