Bankruptcy is not always the solution when it comes to medical expenses! What happens after the fact? If a person has a catostraphic illness the bills will only pile up again after the bankruptcy! Then what? There has to be another way of dealing with illness related expenses!

I agree with you shazzers but unfortunately in this day and age there really isn't any other way than to do a bankruptcy if the creditors are refusing to work with you.
I think a better idea of settling medical debts is to make the creditors reduce those bills and make it easier for people to pay them and not discharge them completely, kind of like a 13 on medical debts. |
