Hi DeadBroke.

If you haven't taken out any payday loans, DON'T DO IT. If you have, we can help. Many people here have been in the "payday loan trap" and have gotten out. If that's your situation, you can get out, too. If you haven't taken out any loans yet, it may seem like an easy fix, but take it from myself and others who have been there, it's just not worth all you have to go through to pay them back. Many of the payday loan companies, especially internet, are illegal and will stoop to any means to get your money. You're much better off going to a relative or even a friend, as embarrassing as that may be, and asking them for money.

Let us know what your situation is. If you have taken out loans, we will need the following information to help you:

1. Are they internet or store front loans?
2. Names of the lenders.
3. How much you borrowed and how much you paid back (including interest and fees) each lender.
4. What state are you in?

I live in DC and i have borrowed loans from.

Check N Go
Ace
Totaling 1500.00, i have been good with going in to make my Finance Charges BUT recently have been falling into crunches since i spend $215.00 every two weeks. Does anyone know if i offered to start making payment arrangements if that is acceptable. I dont want to be sued by them although i go in to the stores to make my finance charges and they apear nice. Does anyone know the DC payday Advance laws?

The loan company will let you know after they accept your proposal. Make sure that you have their agreement in writing. The company will not sue you if you stick with your payments. In case, they end up doing something like this, you'll have always have that piece of paper from them and put your defense.

DeadBroke, don't trust any pdl. Most of them turn out doing illegal business. Check with the Secretary of state and your Attorney General if B.I.G is licensed in your state and have a good business feedback. Keep yourself away from pdl. You must have already learnt by now that pdls are the most expensive cash with highest interest rates. With bad credit, you will always pay high interest rates

You can check your state laws by following this link. Go to state information and click on your state.

www.paydayloaninfo.org

You can also find out from that site whether the company(s) are licensed or not, if that is one of the laws for your state.

If after checking your state's laws, you find that these companies are acting legally, you should go in and talk to them, explain your situation and ask for payment arrangements. They may be able to break it down for you. Let us know what happens.

Latest Blog Post : Are You From California?

Dead Broke---Tough it out! I know it is difficult right now, but do not succumb to another PDL. Register on here as a member and you can speak with a debt consultant (free) who can lead you in the right direction. Maybe you can consolidate your PDLs and get a handle on your finances. Good luck!

B.I.G. Funding is owned by the same company as Route 66 Funding, GFSIL, et al.

DO NOT do business with these people.

This is the worst IPDL company in the world.

Register here http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/signup/

You will get a free quote from the consultant in your area. He will discuss your debts and plan your repayments options. This program waives off most of the fees and paying at lower interest rates. Once you start paying the debts in the plan, all creditors' calls will come to a stop.

If you just took out the loan today, call BIG and tell them that you have changed your mind. You should have 3 days to change yuour mind with no penalties or fees. They are very illegal and a BIG pain in the butt! Most of them will still give you a couple of days to change your mind.
