WFNNB listing on credit report – How to deal with it

I'm in the process of trying to get final approval to buy a home. However there's a negative report that just appear on my credit report from WFNNB/PALAIS
My wife and i have been divorced for nearly four years, and this just appear as a slow pay of April/09. And the card wasn't really used up until Dec./08.
Needless to say I desperately need to speak to someone to clear this report and to take me off this account.

someone from your office called here a few minutes ago. We do not allow anyone to use our unlisted number for anything to do with credit card companies or any other business related things. Unless it was one of us that gave this number to you I will turn you in for calling us if it happens again. Shawna Neff is not at this address nor do we know anything about how to contact her or where she lives. Again if you call after my telling you not to under the ftc law you can be sued for $500 per call.

We are not calling you and debt collectors are not covered under the Do Not Call List. Also, it would be the FCC under the TCPA only for calls to your cell phone. Suggest you use a bit more diligence when using the Google on the interweb machine and contact WFNNB directly. Keep that helmet on!

I had an account in 1989 went into bankruptcy 1991. In 1992 it was finished they got the court documents and responded to the court. Now 2007 they sell the same account to NCO Financial Group stating it is a legal debt now it shows on my credit report and all I get from WFNNB is we don't recall anything about the bankruptcy, you need to call NCO. Seems like they do not keep any records and do what they want.

My name is Dennis,i am from india,can i take help from WFNNB(World Financial Network National Bank)?

Collection agencies are not allowed to call more than once a week in New York State. Yet WFNBB collections calls from at least ten recorded different numbers, and calls from each at least twice a day from each. That adds up to a lot of phone calls a week. World Financial Bank collection agencies don't send anything in the mail, they just call and call and hang up. I do not have a job and the phone is a cell. Will sending a cease and desist letter really help my case and stop them from what is nothing short of harassment? What's to stop them from appearing at my front door in person a la the mafia next? I don't really see how the customer is protected from the harrassment that WFNBB seems to be getting infamous for.

The government has to do something to rein in these little terrorists.

I placed an order with AMO Old Pueblo Traders June 25, 2009. As of today, July 22, 2009 - almost a month - I have NOT received the items
However, I have received a credit card bill in the amount of $84.27 due tomorrow July 23, 2007

July 22, 2009 - nothing has been delivered

Checked my credit report and WFNNB is listed as WFNNB/Eddie Bauer.

i get charged by wfnnb every other month for 39 dollars despite mailing payments 2 weeks in advance atlanta to texas they will post one day after the posting date

This is new information.

Just pulled my credit report. WFNNB shows up on the report multiple times as soft pulls and once as a hard pull.

I can tie all the soft pulls to every single visit I have ever made to Dress Barn. I paid with my Amex, and it appears that WFNNB did a soft pull each time. When I finally agreed to "apply" for the card, it did a hard pull.

Dress Barn just lost my business.

WFFNNB just lost my business.

Anyone know how WFFNNB can do a credit pull from the information on my Amex???

transunion confirmed this

i have a collections from nco financial systems inc and it says former creditor is wfnnb. they are trying to collect $530. i checked my 3 credit reports and i have 2 wfnnb old accounts that were paid off and zero balance. should i talk to nco? i just dont want to any of these collectors if i have to.

Then the customer service agent was on drugs.....it is World Financial, not Wells Fargo. Structure is a mens clothing store....they are handled by World Financial
