How can WFNNB put something on my credit report that is over 10 years old? I disputed it but they did not take it off. What do I do?

The WFNNB says my account is Closed (transferred) on my credit report. On the Pay Status it says Current. On the balance is it says $0 but I never paid anything. I am so confused.

I purchased furniture and was given this account through Value City Furniture - they use WFNNB. The furniture was purchased on 6/22/09. My statemenst had due dates between the 6,7 or 8th of the month. I figured out 6 payments to be able to pay it off within the 6 month period. The last statement sent had a due date of 1/8/10 BUT under the "Plan Summary" it states and "End Date" of 12/19/09! Also a second page came with the statement saying if not paid in full by 12/19 I would be charged finance charges back to the date of purchase. My question: Why didn't they make my statement due date the 22nd (the purchase date) or the 19th (if that's my "end" date) of each month? This is a shady deal. It also takes them 7-10 to credit account each month! Be careful everyone. Is there a way to fight this?

Due to a policy change by the U.S. PostOffice, my account at Woman Within was incorrectly mailed to me and thus I was late around Christsmas. I finally got this corrected and am now receiving the bill, which is now paid in full. I talked with Maria and she said she was unable to explain to you why this happened as it was up to me to write to you. Because of this, I have been charged and extra point on my mortgage and I would very muchy like to keep my payments as low as possible. Could you possible remove this from my credit reports?

All because the P.O. decided we must put 37448 Pettinaro Dr. and Unit #5602 (BOTH) or they will not deliver our mail. I did not get half of my Xmas cards.

Could you please help this old woman get this corrected/ Thank you.

We have been called recently. the first call no one came on the line. The second call was a person asking for our daughter. When we said she doesn't live here asked for a phone number which we do not give out since she is a doctor. She was rude and in the middle of a question to see if we could help out she states we'll call back later. I started to say the hospital she works with but the woman hung up on me. I have no idea what my daughter's affiliation with the company is but I can tell you we were treated very unprofessionally.
WE are willing to help on issues but have been awakened twice and the caller had no interest to work out a way to be in touch with our daughter. She just hung up. How do we stop the calls since there seems to be no interest in resolving the purpose of the call???? Mostly, we would hope the company is not represented entirely by this caller and her attitude. If it was taped this complaint can be verified, including being hung up on!

Here is a company that uses Credit Law Attorney's that effectively and legally on average will increase your credit score 127 points. There is also debt settlement available that will ensure items settled will be removed off your report.
