with the price of gas going up daily, i have been reading where people have been stealing gas from cars. Just want to pass on the alert. I don't have a gas cap that locks but will be buying one on payday, just to be on the safe side.

 My gas tank door used to only open by pressing a button in my driver-side door. Then I spilled pop on the button and it fried. So I had to break open the gas tank, and now it doesn't lock anymore. 
At least when I'm at work I can see my car from my desk.

my car is an older model so doesn't have anything fancy. will have to go buy a new cap so i can make sure i am not going to get ripped off.

Guess it's time to clean out the garage and start parking in there at night! (Good thing it only has less than 1/8 tank right now, anyway!  )

Keep a track of your mileage, it will give you an hint of petrol bleeding (if that word exists), some people take out small amount more regularly.

thanks denny..i will keep that in mind..never thought that they would take alittle from each tank so you wouldn't notice anything wrong.
